Locating the Correct Bluetooth Driver for Your Setup

Find Your Motherboard Model Number:

  1. Hold down Windows + R keys.
  2. Type msinfo32 into the Run box and hit Enter.
  3. Scroll to the "BaseBoard Version" section in the System Information window.
  4. Highlight, copy the information, and search for your motherboard's support page for drivers.

Steps to Freshly Install Bluetooth Drivers

Decompress the File:

  1. Right-click the downloaded .zip file and extract it to an easy-to-find location.

Access Device Manager:

  1. Press the Windows logo button, type Device Manager, and open it.
  2. Click on Bluetooth, and then right-click on your Bluetooth device.
  3. Choose Uninstall Device and check the box to remove the driver software.
  4. Reboot your system.

Installing Your New Bluetooth Driver:

  1. Locate the extracted files on your Desktop and double-click the Application file.
  2. Follow the installation steps prompted by the setup program.
